Media Communications Officer

You will play a central role in promoting our Hospitals and supporting the Trust to achieve its ambitions.

We're looking for an highly skilled team player who has experience of creating engaging and exciting content across all our channels. You will find networking easy, make natural connections to identify communications opportunities and build long lasting successful relationships.

You will understand how to help us raise awareness and spread messages effectively for health stories that matter using the latest media, digital and social media techniques. You will be comfortable speaking to people to gather stories and to build long-lasting relationships. You will have excellent attention to detail and you must be able to manage a busy, fast paced and complex workload. You will get involved with all aspects of communications and be supported by an enthusiastic and friendly team.

The role will be based in Chester with capacity for agile working depending on the business needs of the Organisation and personal preference. The postholder will need to be on site in Chester several times a week.
